Requirements and Tender Process
A London NHS Trust required a Specialist Programme Resource to deliver the following tasks:
- Gather and finalise ICT Digital Services Programme Requirements
- Set up Operational and Programme Governance activities
- Finalise the ICT Digital Services Tender document
With the objective of the tender was to deliver a multi-million pound 21st century digital environment which is future proofed for at least the next 10 years under difficult financial constraints for two new London hospitals
Flexible PM Approach
Developed and put in place a Programme structure which kicked off all operational activities and provided governance to the Trust Programme & NHS boards <br> Liaised with all relevant Trust departments, third-party suppliers and all ongoing major change projects (infrastructure upgrades, desktop refreshes and a full EHRS Rollout) to determine the current and future (1-10 Yr) requirements <br> Agreed and finalised the required deliverables for the Tender document
Outcome
Increased confidence within the Trust and relevant Boards and ensured programme reporting and communications were in place <br> Coordinated all ongoing urgent and non-urgent activities to ensure that no major Constructions and ICT deadlines were missed <br> Finalised and approved the tender document
